Complaint Review: Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi We own a 61" television that started with one dot and NOW they COVER the screen HELP Mitsubishi won't Internet
*Consumer Comment: When did you purchase this TV and how long was the warranty?
Then within a month we noticed a few white dots on the screen. Eventually the dots almost filled the screen. We contacted Mitsubishi and we were told that they would send us the replacement chip. They stated the issue was due to a defective chip.
They stated they would ship the chip for free to a Licensed Mitsubishi Repair Specialist. He would charge around $150-$200 and WE would have to take him the television.
I kept speaking with them and told them that was unacceptable. After numerous phone calls the price went to $500 and I would have to take it in.
Then they finally told me if I was unhappy just buy a new television from someone else. It was no skin off their nose. They already made their money and THEN some.
Now they won't even return my calls.
