Not working for free, just do what you promise

If had the inconvenience of meeting with Michael Jordan of MJ Entertainment. When I initially read this rip off report, I dismissed it thinking that the artist had unrealistic expectations and maybe just didn't have the talent. Now, after months of dealing with MJ, I learn that he is consistantly "writing checks his butt can't cash" meaning, he makes promises he does not have the ability to live up to.
On multiple occassions, MJ has told me that he "has great relationships with (each time he mentions a different label and exec) the labels" and that "they trust my judgment, so even though they can't promise a deal, they said told me they will make something happen."
This man lies about the nature of his relationships with people, he sends artists songs to develop that he does not have the rights to. He even adds counterfeit email headers and footers to the message to make it look like the message is being forwarded from someone who is reputable in the business. I have since confirmed that all of the emails he's forwarded me with contact information is tact did not originate with the person who was listed in the header and footer of the forward.
MJ is more than just a big talker, he is a big liar. He is involved in 2 other Rip Off reports (#477439 & #573709) to date.

Who Works For Free???

It seems there have been reports about Michael Jordan and MJ Entertainment ripping people off but those acusations are totally untrue. Most aspiring artist feel like they have the hottest product ever, which if that was the case they would not need any help. They also want something for nothing which usually still does not get them to where they want to be. In this particular case a rap artist named "Phantom" was looking for some help with his project. His so called manager Chella which happens to be his BABY MAMA, handled all of his business. Phantom was looking for a recording contract and exposure, however everyone knows that for rap artist there has to be something very special about the project and the artist for them to be noticed by a major label. Since MJ Entertainment has relationships with people that could help we came to an agreement. Like any other business in America it costs for the service. "NO ONE WORKS FOR FREE"!! They complained about not having any money and it was a total of 3 months before they actually could pay in full. Once the payment was made in full Chella and Phantom wanted instant success and that is not how this business works. The project was giving to 4 major label record execs who all turned the project down instantly. The project was also given to some independent labels who did not except the project either. Once the results were given to Chella and Phantom they were not satisfied. The bottom line is the project needs work, the artist needs an image, and MJ Entertainment fulfilled the obligation. Months later Chella called wanting a refund. MJ Entertainment informed her that she was not due a refund because we did the work, regardless if they were happy with the outcome or not. Sometimes the truth hurts especially when it is about your BABY DADDY! To prove the point even further Phantom has had some small success locally but he still has not been signed and Chella called to say he was going back to the Army. Apparently reality has set in.
