The ad clearly stated "We Recruit For You" letusrecruit4u . I thought "Great, they'll do what I prefer not to do." After listening to a slick presentation about how they'd been doing this for 40 years and stories
of how successful some of their clients had been, I made an initial payment of $150 with the $345
balance due a week later. The next day I got an email entitled 'Here's the ad copy we'd like to run for you'. But there was no ad in the email. I replied stating that fact and after a day got no response.  So I called and told the representative there was no ad in the email. He said he'll have it resent. I then ask him to explain again how this all works. That's when he informed me that "They don't make cold calls.'

and I would be provided a script to call the leads. But "Isn't that what I'm paying you for?" He proceeded to tell me how this system has worked for their other clients and how much money I could make. I wasn't told about the requirement to call leads until after they had my payment. The next day I called to cancel the account and was told I needed to talk to the owner, Ray for a refund.  I talked with Ray and he said I would get a refund a week later. A week past and no refund. Over the next 4 days I sent emails requesting the status of my refund and got no answer. I then called Ray, and was told that no refund was due because at the bottom of that email with the supposed ad was their Terms of Service that stated No Refund. I told him this information should have been put forth before they got my payment Not after. He resisted and as I pressed my case for the refund he hung up. I am due a refund.

Horrible way to conduct business

AUTHOR: Giselle - ()

POSTED: Thursday, February 06, 2014

I hope that you did a chargeback. And, I can't believe an owner or boss that tells you that you will get a refund, then turns around and says no you won't. Not professional!
