I purchased a viper remote starter from mobile concepts in Nov.2006. The customer service I received while having my remote installed was excellent.

My remote worked wonderful. I have no complaints about the actual product.

Seven months later I decided to trade in my old vehicle. Before I started the trade process, I called moblie concepts to inquire about their protocol for removal and re-installing the system.

I was told their wasn't a fee for removal of the system, and as long as Mobile Concepts removed the system for me, and stored it until I was ready for it to be re-installed into my new vehicle there would be a small fee.

Neitherless to say once Mobile Concepts removed my system from my old vehicle, I was told it would be $40.00 to re-install system. When I took my new vehicle in to have system installed I was then informed by the store manager that it would be a total of $220.00 for installation, which included 4 hours of labor.

I was never informed about paying for the labor during any of the conversations. There are no price list any where in the store.

Mobile Concepts is a true RIPOFF. They are not a company that stands behind their verbal contract. I am so dissatisfied with the customer service and the betrayal of this company. I feel as thouh I was hoodwinked and bamboozled.

Nothing in writing

No, I did not have our Verbal agreement in writing. The same rule applied when I called Mobile Concepts for their pricing!!!!!!!!

Nothing is in writing at this store. You can not find any price list or labor cost posted anywhere!! So where are they pulling the prices from out their A**ES!!!!!!

I did pay a fee to have the system taken out of my old vehicle. Once again that price is not in writing.

When I had my system removed I asked Chris about the price and he told me to call Jason. Why is everyone pointing the finger?

I paid a total of $450 for the system, why would I bring the old vehicle back to mobile concepts after I have traded the vehicle to have them ( mobile concepts) remove it for $55 and reinstall it to new vehicle for $220 , when the dealer was charging me $150 for everything. You do the math. Why would I drive and extra 30 miles to pay an additional $70 when the dealer had both cars their at the same time.

Use common sense!!! At some point you have to wonder why was I mislead!!!

You bought it in Nov. it was installed and then it was removed for free from your last car. Whoever bought your car is probably still trying to figure out all the extra wires.

Do you have it in writing that someone on the phone said it would be installed in your new car for free?

$220 to install in your new car, at 4 hours labor is $55 per hour. Depending on what your new car is, it is probably a deal so you can start your car with a remote control.
