Do not let anyone tell you that they are a tribal inity, what they are are companies hired and contracted through the indian sovernity to do the business for them. If you seach deep enough you will see that they do not even hold the correct online license. Do not just let this lay, I am presently fighting then through the attorney general office of Az and 2 other Govt org.

Washington State Department of Financial Institutions

Consumer Alert:
Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana d/b/a Mobiloans

Unlicensed Payday Loans

Updated: March 20, 2013

The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) has received complaints against Mobiloans. It appears that this entity is operating as a tribal online payday lender. This entity stated they are wholly owned by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, and that it has sovereign immunity. This entity asserts that it is not subject to regulation by DFI and that only the United States Government has jurisdiction over federally recognized Indian Tribes and their business activities.

Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana is not licensed by DFI. This entity is not registered to conduct business in Washington State by the Department of Licensing, the Department of Revenue, or the Secretary of State. Washington residents are advised that state law provides in RCW 31.45.105(1)(d) and (3) that a small loan made by an unlicensed entity to a person physically located in Washington is uncollectible and unenforceable in Washington State.

Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana d/b/a Mobiloans operates a website at www.mobiloans.com and lists its phone number as (877) 836-1519. The address that has been associated with this entity is: Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana d/b/a Mobiloans, 151 Melacon Rd, Marksville, LA 71351.
