MODERNAGE GALLERY , PONTIAC MI stole the contents of my gallery, the items were consigned to him when I closed my store LIVONIA Michigan

Jim Amato was recommended to me by another auctioner , I had him come to my gallery and informed him I was closing my gallery due to health reasons. He said he would send a truck to pick up all the contents of the gallery and auction them off. My first impression of him is that he was trustworthy so I agreed. when the truck came we started listing the items and reserves. Due to the large quanity of items we got through about 20 pages on items and as he had the movers there he suggested that every thing be moved to his wharehouse and He would contact me to come out and finise listing the items and reserves. This was in Jan. 2010 the one owner auction was to be scheduled for April, he never called me and did not start auctioning off items till Sept . he took no reserves and was selling off my antiques without reserves for next to nothing. I stoped at the gallery several times and retrieved some of my merchendise . The items were stored where they were getting wet and ruined. needless to say he never returned my phone calls or emails , never contacted me to say he was closing and abscounded with over 50,000 dollars of my merchendise . I have not been able to contact him he disconected his phone and never answered his cell phone. I contacted a lawyer and was told it would cost effective to sue him, should there be a class action suit against him I would like to be part of it.I see that he has ripped a lot of other people off also.
