I recently ordered flowers from Moments To Remember for Valentines Day based out of Davie, Florida, 305-900-9541, 305-305-8888, 954-370-6030. I had received a flyer on my desk at work as they had come around to advertise.

The special was $35 for a dozen flowers with a box of chocolates & a card. I spoke to a salesman named Eddie who sold me on adding a balloon for an additional $5. That brought the total to $40. That night around 8PM, I received a call back from Eddie who asked me if I was interested in adding a Teddy Bear for $8. I said OK. The bill was now $48.

On Valentines Day, the flowers arrived as promised. The box of chocolates was miniature-sized & the balloon looked like it came from a dollar store. But I was OK with that. The teddy bear never arrived however. And more importantly, I was charged $68 to my credit card.

I called the company the next morning to let them know of the situation. They said they would get back to me when they had a chance to look at their records. They called back & let me know I was charged $15 delivery fee because of the distance from their office that no one told me about. They also took a $5 tip for themselves that I also was unaware of until then.

That brought the total to $60. I didn't think that was fair to charge me for things they never informed me about, but I didn't fight that part (even though I feel they are obligated to give me a full bill before charging me). I made it clear they still owed me $8 for the bear that never arrived. I asked to be reimbursed back to my credit card. They told me it was too much trouble for them to do & they would stop by my workplace with the $8 and they would bring the teddy bear as well in case I still wanted it.

They never showed. I called them back again, only to get an apology & promise they would be over the next day again. They didn't show again, call me, nothing. I called them back on numerous occasions (I had the owners cell phone number by this time) and I left 2-3 additional voicemails. None of which were returned. This was 3 weeks ago.

In this case, I am upset not so much about the money, but more because I feel that I have been scammed. When one of the owners themselves could not follow through on a simple promise on 2 different occasions and them ignored my phone calls there is a big problem.
