Momentum Payment Ststems Encore, Prodigy, and Qube Payment Deceptive Companies Addison Texas

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Let's start with the interview process.  It consists of someone on the phone confirming that you are alive and then placing you in a position in the field representing the company.  You never speak to your actual manager and he or she knows nothing about you until after you are hired.  The interview consists of no questions other than "When can you start".

This company is an interesting one to work for.  They claim to have appoinments set up for their reps in their help wanted ads.  After one is hired, the company managers admit that their appointments are set with the following in mind.  Out of the original appointments set, 1/3 of those will actually agree to see the salesperson that the appointment is set for.  Out of this 1/3, one third of these people will agree to actually purchase the service.  Out of 10 apppointments set, 7 of them are expected to not show or not allow the salesperson to even speak to them.  Out of the remaining three, only 1 is expected to use the service.  These numbers came from the company manager on the phone during a conference call.

The processing rates are actually very competitive.  The problem is that the comapny aggressively tries to get merchants to sign four year lease terms for processing equipment.  The purchase price for this equipment is only a few hundred dollars with some point of sale systems costing a thousand or so to purchase.  At the end of the 4 year lease, the equipment costs the merchants thousands of dollars.  The company refuses to change its way of doing business.

The leads that the company sets up leave a lot to be desired.  For the most part, when the salesperson enters the business, it is like a cold call rather than a planned appointment.  Very unusual as one expects this to be the case for a few of the appointments set rather than the rule for most of the appointments that one runs.

If you have a problem making cold calls in an industry where merchants have seen hundreds like you, then this is not for you.  The appiontments that are set for you will consist of many no shows as well as merchants who will deny that they ever made an apppointment with anyone.  Every call that you make, regardless if it is an appointed one or a cold call will basically be a cold call.
