Monarch Shores Top Luxury Rehab Orange County Higher ups make decisions that are very disruptive, unethical, and all about the money. San Juan Capistrano California

I was looking online for a luxury rehab in Orange County. I was needing to detox from prescription pills. I was in a horrific accident a year before and was taking all my medication just like the dr said but then when they took me off of them I started getting really sick. That's when I started searching the Internet. After my many calls to other places I found Monarch Shores online. When I called I spoke with a Anthony. I liked everything he said, I get my own room, I don't have to move houses, and I would see the doctor when I arrive. Unfortunately, after I arrive at the house which isn't bad, but it would have been nice to know before getting on the plane all their rooms were shared, and I was "misinformed" when I asked the house staff why I don't have a single bedroom like I was told on the phone. I was also told the doctor would see me that same day but in reality I had to wait over 24 hours and the "Dr" was a physician assistant, not a medical doctor scary to think I was so sick from the alprazolam and was told later by a staff member that I could have had a seizure.

Finally I saw the "Dr" but people shouldn't have to suffer especially in a life threatening condition ever. On the phone Anthony told me my insurance was going to cover 100%. And I only need to pay my deductible to meet my plan maximum and I would not receive a bill from them when I returned home. Well after only being there 3 days I was kicked out and the reason I was given was that I was not appropriate for their program and I needed medical help. Really? I gave them all my medical history before checking in they even did an assessment over the phone to make sure they could handle my case, I've never been so shocked that 3 days into my detox I now have to go. I said where am I going? They said I couldn't be on the property and had minimal time to gather my things. What kind of person would, in their worst moment, throw someone out while in severe withdrawal and pain?

The whole company is run by egotistical, unethical, and greed. The staff especially the poor women are constantly belittled and harassed by other male staff making sexual innuendos, and rude, extremely inappropriate comments. I felt sorry for the women there because they said the comments didn't bother them. I know if someone ever talked to my daughter like that and I heard them I probably would have quickly put them in their place by any means necessary. The place is new but the attitude of my stick is better than yours prevails throughout, and permeates it's stench everywhere. Do yourself a favor and call someone else that will actually listen and tell you the truth, I made a few calls before I decided, I made a list of places that gave me the truth, but I was in too much pain to realize. Please do t make the same mistake, go to a place where you aren't just another paycheck. After leaving I found out from another client that after I left the reason I was kicked out was because someone paying cash came in. I wouldn't recommend giving monarch shores the time of day. After I was kicked out i went to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach where I detoxed safely. After being home a couple of weeks I received a 9,500 bill from Monarch Shores I hope they go under.
