Monroe Muffler and Brake When they can't fix it, they charge you anyway. Customer service is useless and "Market Managers" lie and ignore you! York Pennsylvania

I brought my vehicle in twice for repairs (engine light on, engine misfiring) and after spending $275 the car is in the same undrivable condition than when I brought it in. After calling a third time, the manager at the Queen Street location in York, PA basically blew us off and said they couldn't figure out what was wrong. No offer to refund our money. So, I contacted Monroe Muffler customer service at their 800 number. Three times I spoke to the same "customer service" rep, Sharron and three times I was promised that the "Market Manager" would contact me and get my car into another shop that could repair it. Although I told the rep (the first time) that I preferred a refund so I could get it repaired properly, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusted the manager would contact me. Well, 5 days and 3 attempts later...no call. In fact, the Market Manager in Souther PA lied, to the customer service rep several times...once saying they would contact me as soon as they were done handling a customer and again telling her that they left me a voicemail. I have been a Monroe customer at the same location for almost 9 years and they could care less. At the moment I'm out a car and out my $275. Needless to say, I will never use another Monroe again and will be sure to spread the work via social media.
