n mid to late June I ordered a transmission from monster trans costing $1869.20.. I recieved tranny  on July 6th, on July 12th I contacted them with issues with tranny. On July 13th they had me purchase other parts to try to correct issue. On Jully 22nd I informed them that didnt work. They wanted me to buy more parts.

I spent July 23rd going to local trans shops for diagnosis, and found out that the parts I bought couldnt cause this problem and the other part they suggested wouldnt fix it either, that the problem was internal (3 shops( 2 local 1 online)).

On Jult 25th  I told  Josh ( the sales manager) what I found localy and asked him if he was intrested, Hew said that they dont call people at that point the convessation went down hill,So from the 6th till the 25th was just a run around with these guys  ie having me purchase other parts and advising me of other parts not ruturning call or emails. He accused me of things I accused him of things.. One of the questions I had for Josh was Why he with held valuable warrenty info at point of sale.
This whole ordeal would not have happened if he had given me this info at point of sale and they would have had another chance at it

on Augest 8th i called and left message for shipment instructions  . no return call. On the 9th I called again at 9am and left message at 4:30 pm I called again, this time I was informed that it was going to cost $350 for shipping prepaid ( wich there warrenty states that they pay shipping). On the 12th Josh called me and wanted to now what I wanted to resolve this issue. I told him to come get hes tranny and refund money. he said he will get back with me in 24 hrs again. I told him he had till 5.

This was the only day that i had a way to get tranny from my shop 10 miles away to a tranny shop and give them 1 week to fix befor I return to work on August25

What the tech found when he tore tranny down for estement was not what I wanted to hear, monster had used worn out parts and  bad hard parts that caused this tranny to fail with >50 miles on it. they used infearior parts for a performance build that this tranny would never hold up to 400 horses let alone the 650 that they advestise ( this was supposed to be a $1800 performance tranny compared to what a stock 700R4 would cost $700)

I do have picturse video and testamony from tech who has rebuilt trannies for 30 yrs who does trannies for a major stero manufacture here localy and for a car builder whos cars have been showcased in magivines scence the 70's

Repair bill to bring this tranny to the standereds that monster promissed is at $1390 + $350 R&R+ plus $300 for another new torque, because this one is now full of Monster junk.
You should always replace new TQ with new tranny. My TQ was new from TCI a very reputable TQ manufacture.
