Montage Holdings Sean C. Hays lack of response; evasive answers; broken promises; phony letters of intent Miami, Florida

SHAME ON ME!!!  ALTHOUGH I KNEW BETTER, I DECIDED TO BELIEVE A REASONABLE SOUNDING PROMISE....Montage Holdings, operated by Germano Carreira with Sales Manager, Sean C. Hays, has done it again - failed to deliver on promised LOIs and loan fundings.  Carreira, who purports himself to be the underwriter for Montage, prepares elaborate conference calls with brokers and their clients and makes extensive promises of performance.  All the while, Sean Hays, (who claims he is the Sales Manager, but never seems to know what's happening with any loans nor knows who the contacts are with Montage lenders) chimes in during the conference calls his agreement with whatever Carreira claims.  When asked repeatedly for references (which they claimed confidentiality prevented them from providing) and even to explain RipOff Report postings (explained as disgruntled brokers with no basis to claims), both Carreira and Hays claimed to have funded numerous loans over the past several years.   

Both make specific promises of performance, or that LOIs are just days away, or the agreements are being worked on and should be delivered any time.  Nothing happens, days and weeks go by, calls are not returned and excuses are made when they can be reached.  Fortunately, no fees traded hands, but as important, weeks were lost waiting for promised LOIs that never materialized.  BE ADVISED TO WORK WITH THIS BROKER-PRETENDING-TO-BE-A-LENDER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!  MONTAGE HOLDINGS HAS ONLY THE MOST BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE BUSINESS AND CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO FOLLOW THROUGH.
