I moved on August 9, using Mooney's Relocation Specialists. During the move, I eyewitnessed their moving guys bang my furniture into walls, making holes in the walls. After the move completed, I followed their procedures and filed a claim form to get reimbursed for the damage. They refused to remiburse me for the damages. Also, they charged me for 10.5 hours, but only worked 9.5 hours and they refused to refund me for the difference.
The part that really angered me is that when I tried to discuss this with the president of the company, Michael DeStaffno and he yelled at me, threatened me, then hung up on me without trying to resolve the issue.
The warning is simple: Don't use Mooney's Relocation Specialists for your moving. If / when they damage your goods, they'll refuse to reimburse you, as per their promises.
