For two years my wife and I battled what we originally thought was gross incompetence and finally realized was a deliberate attempt to pirate our home away from us. In or around the month of July of 2002, the judge thwarted their bogus actions, for what we thought would be the last time - not so.

On Jan. 8, 2003, we returned home after taking our daughter to school and coffee-clutching with a couple of parents. We were shocked to find the Sheriff's Police presiding over the eviction of our belongings! We had received no eviction notice, no letters (certified or otherwise), not even a threatening phone call! And now here were state-assisted goons, breaking our crystal, dragging our dressers down the stairs upside-down and generally destroying our valued possessions. There was paper, strewn all about the floor, including our correspondence with Amresco. Some of our proofs, i.e., Western Union receipts, etc., were mysteriously missing!

We were informed by the police that we could not stay in the house or get anything on our way out. When we went back outside, there was a real estate agent who had come to our door, two months earlier! At that time she gave me her card and when I asked why she was at our door she simply said to call her if we needed or wanted to. When I asked why I would need or want to, she just repeated what she had said. In the past troubles with Amresco/Wendover/Fairbanks, or whoever in the hell these people are, there'd been a veritable parade of people at our door, claiming they'd bought our property or some such thing. But this time was different. We had a closing date for refinancing at a new company, scheduled for Jan.15,2003.

We'd finally be rid of these scandalous, blood-sucking leeches! We immediately called our broker and he was incredulous, as he'd just received a payoff figure after weeks of stonewalling on Amresco's part. There is not the space here for me to provide as much detail as I would like to, but, needless to say, we are anxious to see these hyenas get their just desserts. We had the resources to make a smooth transition into a new residence. But how many of their victims have been completely unable to mentally or physically survive these kinds of attacks? How can they be allowed to get away with this? They can't!

Oh, by the way, we'd never even heard of Fairbanks Capital Corp. until the Sheriff's police showed us a copy of the court order, allowing our eviction.
