I believe the owner of Motor Fair, Hesham (Sam) Shafik, is dishonest and deviously intends to cheat you before you ever show up on his car lot.

I traded a car of greater value than the car I was purchasing so I was due a check for the difference.  Once the contracts were signed Hesham acted surprised that I wanted the check that day.  So then the tap dancing started. He claimed he needed a to sell some cars before he could afford to pay me and when I insisted he gave me a check for a partial payment and told me not to cash the check until he called me.  It took more than a month to get a check for the balance, $1000 dollars, and only after I told him by mail I would be filing a small claim on a specific date.  The day I was to file he caved in. I strongly suggest others to pursue him if he owes you money.  You can learn about filing, you do not need a lawyer necessarily, at http://www.oklahomacounty.org/courtclerk/smallclaims.aspx

So about the car I purchased.  I had an agreement called a "we owe" contract, see below, for the things that needed to be fixed.  I did not want to rush them I wanted the car fixed right. Two weeks later and the repairs were not finished until I insisted.  I couldn't even get the car into drive when I picked it up because the shifter was sticking!  I was so fed up I just took possesion of the car and hoped to be done with all of this mess.  Well now things get really interesting.    I was due a check from my insurance company on the car he bought from me but my insurance company wanted to see the car which he now owned.  Long story short he took a check from the adjuster made out to me and cashed it at his bank!  Presently he is being pursued for fraud by my insurance company.

Buyers should know that he buys cars from auction without even looking at them. They run it through their shop on the car lot just to cover over the obvious problems and then put them up for sale. I learned this while waiting for my car to be repaired as I overheard the staff talking.

It may seem like too much hassle to pursue this man for whatever he owes you but I think it is well worth the trouble.  I think he expects that most people will not do so and he probably makes a lot of money in this manner.

Get It In Writing: WE OWE CONTRACT
Paperwork may be a pain when you are hot to buy wheels, but do it anyway. Do not sign any contract or form if it is not completely filled out with only the terms you have agreed to. Understand that if it is not in writing, you have no way of proving that it was part of the bargain. Anything that is part of the reason or basis of your bargain needs to be in the contract. Most dealers use a "WE OWE" form for anything they commit to do or provide before or after delivery of the vehicle. The dealer may be your brother, but he may want to disown you when you start complaining that you didn’t get what you thought you were buying.
