My car was vandalized and taken to Motor Meister for full resoration. That was 2011.

I knew that repairs would take a long time, but recently I've been strung along and my phone calls are being avoided so I had someone else call. They told her that the business is currently for sale, and that no repairs to my car have been done other than a paint job. They have been paid by my insurance company and an additional $36000.00 from me personally and it appears that I will get nothing back other than the shell of my 1979 Porshe 911 Slantnose, if that.

The Bureau of Automotive repairs says there is nothing that they can do about it, I have all the correspondence, emails and receipts and am forced to seek police escort to remove my vehicle. Their facility is so large that I have no idea how they would be able to find my motor and now I am seeing all of these reports, how is something like this allowed to continue with no legal ramifications?

Who really wrote this glowing review of Motor Meister?

This is pretty hard to believe, because according to the dates on this report his car went into the shop in 2003. This is obviously the owner or his wife or now famous son, Roy (not Jerry) reposting something old in an attempt to pour salve over the damage that is being done to the attempted sale of his chop shop, I mean business.

I did happen upon more information for all of you customers though. The office manager Lisa, yes, the stupid one in the front office, admitted to us some helpful information. Don't be fooled into thinking she is helpful, she is the one that is RIGHT NOW lien saleing your car. She isn't calling customers to ask of they received notice, she isn't contacting any of the customers that reside out of the Country. She is stealing right next to Lee and his son and wife. She admitted that they are lien saleing  every single vehicle that is currently in the shop for repair or storage and they are lien saleing all motors as well.  They are doing this by sending the "notice" to an incorrect address and when they receieve no response they are free to lien sale it. You can't call, they arent answering the phones!   I was able to snap pictures of several license plates in the garage and have those if you're interested in finding your car, if it's still there when you get there I cannot control. See craigslist for more information on this. Lee Marks has the rest of the vehicles hidden throughout Los Angeles County, in storage units. One of those storage facilities agreed not to release the 12 vehicles that they have stored, back to Motor Meister, so those 12 are safe. That's it people, the rest of his customers aren't getting anything. Not even parts. At this point, Lee Marks is solely going to work to steal now. And by the way, while there I learned that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, stealing from the customers isn't enough. There are 2 mechanics still working there along with Lisa, all of whom are still filing and collecting state unemployment while they collect their under the counter paychecks. Hi Jose!!! I turned you guys in this morning!!

Speaking of mechanics, the plug given here for the quality of the mechanics at Motor Meister is utter nonsense, The same 2 mechanics have been there for years, training kids directly out of high school, and training them the Motor Meister way. They have never given two shits about about quality and why would they when they aren't doing the work anyway?

Oh yeah and hey customers, make sure you understand that you need to bring your title, your invoices and your identification when you arrive at Motor Meister. Make sure you take a long look at your invoice so that you can see how many times this company called you telling you  the progress of the vehicle and asked for more money, I want you to be up to speed because on the off chance that your car is there I absolutely guarantee that no work has been done to it, they have been stealing from all of you the entire time your car has been there. Meanwhile my tiny little personal investigation of Lee and his wife and son Roy Marks shows that Lee drives a Ferrari, his wife drives a new Benz,. his son, who went to Ireland 3 times last year, owns 2 homes has luxory vehicles and a couple of boats. Guess who paid for those? Make sure you DEMAND your car and all of your parts back, if he doesn't have them, file a police report for grand theft auto. Then when you leave, go directly to the DA's office and file again. Retain an attorney. Do not let this man continue or he is going to simply change the name of his business and start fresh, only this time with a AAA rating from the BBB because it has a new name.

So this person is going to tell me that he is the ONE customer that managed to get his car back? Not even a good try.  Ask yourself what kind of person would come on this site to gloat that he got his stuff back simply by remaining calm, while the rest of you watch your cars get sold right out from under you. The owner is the only one I can think of that is that horrible of a human being. Looks like he is trying to get customers to remain calm as they show up there, so if it were me, I would do the exact opposite of that.
