I ordered a motorcycle from a company on the internet. The owner of the company is Gordon Whittet. The URL to the website is http://www.motorcycles-wholesale.com. I had purchased this bike on May 28, 2008. The reason I purchased from the company because they say on their website that they ship the bikes out within 48 hours, and you will receive a tracking number from the shipping company 48 hours after they ship the bike.

On June 1, 2008, I received an email from Gordon stating that the were running behind and I should receive shipping information on Monday, or Tuesday. On Tuesday evening, I emailed Gordon because I hadnt received any shipping information yet. I waited around and didnt get a response from Gordon. On Thursday, June 5, 2008, I emailed Gordon again, because I was going out of town soon and needed to know when the bike was going to be delivered.

I said it was urgent that I get a response back a.s.a.p. Well after no response again, Friday June 6, 2008, I sent another email stating the following to Gordon: I have been sending emails asking when my bike will be shipped and havent gotten a response back. I ordered this bike on May 28th and am getting concerned that maybe i should contact my credit card company. I decided that I wanted to request my money back since this guy hasnt responded to one of my emails.

On Sunday, June 08, 2008, I finally received an email stating that they were running behind. I replied back and told them that I wanted to cancel my order. Wow, they answered immediately. It seems that they only send emails on Sunday.

This is what they wrote: "Hello Scott,
Please understand.
It is too late to cancel your order once your bike has already been shipped.
We will not be held responsible for shipping delays, which are ENTIRELY out of our hands.
As our website clearly states, there are strictly no returns on our sales.
Only a replacement-parts warranty for any parts that are proved to be defective. That is why our price is kept so low.
Our importer/supplier does not accept returns for credit, so regrettably, neither can we.
If you did cancel at this late stage, the cost of the return shipping and a re-stocking fee would have to be deducted from the amount you paid,
because the return shipping cost will need to be paid to our importer.
So we would have to advise our payment processor of this loss, and ask for this to be deducted from any credit allowed.
Again, my sincere apologies for the shipping delay, Scott.
I hate it when that happens too, believe me.
But it was caused by circumstances that are completely out of my control,

So now he is trying to charge me a shipping fee and restocking fee for which I never even received the bike. So I am reporting him to the bbb. I would be weary of ordering from this guy. Especially since he has a major problem responding back to emails. I have also contacted my credit card company as well to put in a dispute.
