Complaint Review: Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort
Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort Refused to return our money. We made reservations to see "Foreigner" transferred to the hotel, sold out, transferred back, would not cancel tickets. All within 5 min. Chester West Virginia
We called Mountaineer's Harv reservations to see "Foreigner" on August 30, 2013. We explained we were coming from out of town & that my wife is handicapped & they explained that the seats would work for us. We purchased 2 tickets at $80 each & they transferred us to the hotel to reserve a room for that night. It turned out that the hotel was sold out & so we transferred back to Harv reservations to cancel the tickets. They would not cancel tickets as their policy says there is no cancellation. We explained to them about the hotel & that we had just spoke to them 5 minutes ago & that they had a month & 1/2 to sell the tickets. We asked to speak with a manager, which we did. He said the same thing-absolutely no refunds! We called our credit card company & told them not to pay them. They agreed & we did not pay. We have had other problems with Mountaineer before & we will not be attending their Resort ever again.
