We hired Move On Van Lines to load and carry our furniture from WA state to CA during July of 2009. We contacted them several times to no avail to see when our furniture would arrive. When we finally got them on the phone they told us there would be a delay because our furniture was taken cross country with someone else's belongings. The truck finally arrived 10 days late with only one driver who said he couldn't find any illegals along the way to help him unload the truck.

We didn't want him to leave with our stuff, so my husband offered to help this man (Marvin) unload the truck. Before getting at our things which were in the back of the vehicle, this fellow tossed out another person's furniture with no regard or care onto the street. We were appalled by his lack of respect and his careless treatment of that person's things.

At any rate, during the unloading, the mover broke a mirror, deeply scratched our dining room table, and we noticed the table legs had been removed and were missing from it. Along with the missing legs were a missing fan and a valued computer table. They had disassembled the table on the other end without telling us. The table crossed the country several times according to their warehouse...along with other people's belongings. We still do not have it and this is mid-September 2009.

The owner (Ziggy) and two others, Rosie and Kim (no last names were given to us) have been very aggressive and rude and have outright lied to us about our missing pieces. We cannot get our desk back and they will not provide us with claim forms although we have asked several times for them via emails and phone messages. Still, no response and no return phone calls. We are thinking of filing a police report for stolen goods with the city of Los Angeles but don't know if this will do any good.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Firstly, they are illiterate and do not know how to communicate vocally or through email and secondly, you will be sorry if you choose to let them handle or more appropriately "mis-handle" your goods.
