Been a member and patron of Movielink for some time. The viewing quality of their movie downloads is very poor, similar to old VCR tape. The cost per movie on average is $4.95 for a one time viewing and $2.00 a day afterward. In addition, their Movielink Manager Software is Spyware, constantly invading your system and consistently monitoring your online activity to deluge you with ads to visit their website to rent/download movies. The poor quality of movie viewing is only matched by the highly intrusive software and equally poor service.

Much better bargain offers for first time "sign ups" over the generally faithfull patron. Went to download a movie and saw an ad offering a Free ticket to "Van Helsing Movie" for Renting and downloading two simultaneous movies for a "New Renter". They will give an established Member/Renter a "Free Ticket to Van Helsing Movie" for three (3) simultaneous Rentals/Downloads.

Customer service is very poor, especially since team-up with Intel and IBM. Service personnel are available via Instant Messaging, which is a good idea from the Prodigy days, but the reps tend to be arrogant, insensitive, condescending and cynical.
