I had a horrible experience with this company this past weekend . The owner assured me the cost for the move was $200 flat fee which included the truck, dolly, straps & 2 men. They got to my house at 9:25 am and loaded the truck this took about 1 1/2 hours because I only had them move the large stuff (couches, entertainment center etc.) no boxes or small items.
When we arrived at the destination about 1 1/2 miles down the street the driver said I can't unload anything until I have payment in full and that will be $865.70. I argued with him that it has been 2 hours and how do you est how long it will take to unload and this amount is outrageous for the amount of stuff they had to haul. Then they said it had to be a money order. They held my items hostage until I paid this amount.
They claim some of the adt'l was b/c they charged tax. Then they wanted the stubs that are used as the receipts from money orders and I refused. The men were outside my new apartment screaming at each other for at least 20 min. It was horrible and I do Apartment Management so I have seen many movers come and go. I will never recommend this company to ANYONE!!!!

This is a completely false report. All of our contracts and services are binding and agreed upon prior to every move where each client has to sign their Confirmation Letter.
This is again nothing but a sad personal attack. Also this person states that we demanded to be paid with money order which is again wrong, we take all types of payments with the exception of personal checks.
If this person that wrote this report has ever been a customer of Movage, they would post some kind of proof and this website allows them to do so. Obviously you are not going to see that.
