The whole experience with Nationwide Relocation was a scam! I went online to get a moving quote at www.movingcost.com and all of the quotes came from Vanlines affiliates. In addition, customers who go through www.movingcost.com are talking to brokers who are only interested in only getting the order and they will not provide additional assistance with your order.

I was originally quoted $2291.68 and ended up paying $3229.30. I explained repeatedly the driver arrived with 1/2 a truck full of household goods from another customer. I repeatedly called and e-mailed the reps who originally placed my order (Pamela ext. 247, Molly ext. 334, William ext. 273, plus 3 messages I left on their customer service line). No one bothered to return my e-mail or calls.

When I finally got a hold of someone from Victory Vanlines, I asked the rep to send me an e-mail with the details of my order, but she said they didn't use e-mails and could only fax. This is 2010! What company doesn't use e-mails!  In addition, she told me their company didn't accept credit card payments and my balance needed to paid before they would deliver my household goods.  I reminded her I paid Nationwide Relocation a deposit of $1025.53 by VISA, so where did that money go if they didn't accept credit card payments.  She just kept saying "we no collect credit card payments."

Neither Nationwide Relocation or Victory Vanlines would provide a detailed itemization of the difference in charges nor would they provide a copy of the weight ticket to justify the so-called extra weight of my order.

Also, Victory Vanlines does not have a company truck. They arrived in a Ryder rental truck and delivered my stuff in a Penske rental truck. No company logo's anywhere! I was promised a 48hour call ahead regarding my pickup/delivery which never happened.  Less than a days notice, I received multiple calls regarding my pickup and delivery dates/times.  One caller said, "Your pickup is Sunday, June 6th between 8a-10am."  The second caller 5 minutes later said, "Your pickup is Monday, June 6th sometime that day."  I was left wondering Sunday or Monday????  The driver for Victory Vanlines called Sunday morning at 9:08am and said he'd be there at 3:20pm.  So much for 8am - 10am.  My delivery schedule was just as bad.  I was promised July 5th in the afternoon and the driver for Victory Vanlines arrived at 7pm that night.

What topped off my whole miserable experience was the delivery driver had the nerve to ask me for a tip as he was leaving.  Are you kidding me?  You arrive late, leave tape rolls and tape pieces all over the place, every other box was dented (I'm happy and lucky to say no damages).  I reminded him of the poor customer service and moving experience.  He sounded concerned and then said, "would you consider using us again."  I politely said, "No."
