Hired Movingcost to move us from Vegas to Dallas. Supposed to pick up on 10-1 or 10-2. Got a call from the movers they subcrontacted (Liberty Van Lines out of Phoenix, AZ) saying they couldn't pick up unti 10-3. Then started asking for money.
I had already given Movingcost a credit card they never said we had to pay movers. But of course said other wise when I called.
Movers called 10-3 asking for directions. I asked where he was. He didn't know. I said well I can't help you then. He said he wanted me to drive where he was and lead him to my home. I asked if he had a map, he answered no. I said well I have no clue where you are I can't find you. He then cursed and yelled at me, saying he was very tired from moving these other people (they had three stories) and he didn't want to deal with my crap; either come get him or he was going home. I of course stated again I didn't know where he was. He cursed some more then hung up.
I called Movingcost the following Monday 10-4 (closed on Sunday) and told them what happened. They said they would try and convince the movers to come back. I said WHAT?? you have got to be kidding me they are scary and mean don't send them. She said if your scared of them get a sheriff to come watch while they load your items. I said no way get someone else here NOW. ( I had already paid 1,000.oo and didn't want to loose it.
All in all the movers finally arrived 10-5 took 3 hours to straighten there truck, refused to ID label all my stuff saying they didn't have to inventory everything. After signing the inventory log I had to leave while they finished loading.. I was already 3 days late to my new job.
It's 10-16 now and I have yet to recieve my stuff. The movers refuse to show me a weight estimate for final billing and Movingcost said they couldn't and wouldn't help me.
AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST, when if I get my things I am filing litigation.
