On Dec 11, 2009, we entered into a contract with Nationwide Relo. They gave us what we thought was a fair estimate.  It was affordable.  How nice, right?

Unfortunately, from the day they were 'supposed' to arrive to move us, problems arose.  First, their truck broke down on the way (but did they call to tell us that? Noo...). Then, they were over a day late...meaning the trip from AZ to FL was delayed, meaning our move in date was screwed up...and our move out date, of course...

Then...we were given an estimate of when they would show in Florida. That day came and went, no word.  No show. We called.  Nothing. Finally, days later, they called...with an estimate date that was much later than planned (it took over three weeks to finally get out things) and an inflated charge. Even though we were quoted a weight of 2400 lbs (it was less than a one bedroom apt), and a fee of 1893.00, when they called, they said it had magically increased in weight by over a thousand pounds, so we needed to come up with another 2000 dollars...whoa...what?

We went back and forth and finally someone agreed that we could do a reweigh on the day the truck showed up.  If we would follow them to a nearby weigh station before and after, we would have our exact weight. We agreed. We set a delivery date. No show. Two days later, they show, with the driver laughing about how he was too (and I quote!) hungover to deliver it the days before...

We followed, did the reweigh. Guess what? The original estimate was even too high! We only had 2,000 lbs even. So...that money they overcharged? We were promised PROMISED it would be refunded to our credit card in thirty days. And...drum roll please...it's been seven MONTHS. We've emailed and called...and someone always promises to look into it and check back.

We have all the paperwork right here...and nothing has been done.
