I was gardening in my back yard and had my garage was open when a sales represnetative from Moxie walks into my back yard through my ragage. I was startle and asked him how he got in and he said your garage was open my neighbor was over, he said he would help me get rid of the spider webs and this has always been a problem for me, their rep told me that I did not have to be on a contract that it could be month to month with the option to cancel at anytime if I was not happy with the service through a telephone call. I decided to give them a try and was never happy with the results and I did call and complain and cancelled and they urged me not to discountinue and they agreed to send some one out to re-spray, and they did. I still was unhappy and called them again and decided to cancel at this point and they gave me my balance and hit me with a cancellation fee at which time I was very upset being told by their own rep. that I was on a month to month verbal agreement. I told them that I would not pay them for a cancellation fee being that I was lied to by their own people but that I would pay for the lousy services that they had rendered. I now have been sent to collection for $107.73 which I will not pay them. I would have never agreed to a contract with out doing any D&B or internet check review. I urge anyone who reads this not to do business with MOXIE PEST CONTROL, they do lousy service and they will RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!!!

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You're Kidding...a verbal contract?

AUTHOR: Thats Too Bad - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 08, 2009

Who in their right mind would make a verbal agreement? Did you also leave a complaint when the grocer told you to have a great day and you didn't? It sounds like you either heard what you wanted to and are making thins up or you were ignorant enough to think a verbal agreement held any water against the written agreement you must have signed. Anyone whose worked in customer service knows 1 of every 4 complaints is someone calling and straight making things up to try and get their way. Sounds like you fit.
