Mr Sparky NWA Overcharge for replacing a dryer socket, $2500. They use scare tactics to rip you off. Springdale Arkansas

I was out of town when my tenant called and needed a dryer socket replaced. I called Mr Sparky and they changed the socket which should have cost $250 to on the high end $500. We were told that all the sockets should be checked. We were charged $2500 To just look at the other sockets which had been rewired only 5 years earlier. This was on property that was newly remodeled and rewired only 5 years earlier. We paid around $3000 to have the whole duplex rewired, but Mr Sparky only looked at one unit and told us they could look at the other unit for $1000 more which we declined. This is the biggest rip off I've ever been involved in, call someone else for your electrical issues.
