we feel that it is our duty to let people know our experience over the last 8 months trying to recover a vet bill incured one week after we received our puppy. We purchased a puppy from ashley at ms puppy connection on august 27th of 2010. we had him for one week and he went into severe hypoglycemia so we contacted ashley and she advised us to take him to a vet. we did what she advised, he had wormes and severe hypoglycemia after treating him for what he had, we had to take him two more times to the vet for hypoglycemia.
We understood the implications of hypoglycemia and how fragile these puppies are. Our issue with ashley and ms puppy connection was not the hypoglycemia, it was the worms. she asked us to send her the bill from the vet visit which was 343.00 and assured us she would reimburse us for the monies we spent just one week after we received him. we thought that was great. we did not expect her to do that. she said she would submit our claim to her insurance company (paws) and send us a check. how foolish we are, 8 months later and a ton of emails, no check, nothing but excuses from her.
our advise to anyone considering purchasing a puppy from ashley at ms puppy connection is cross your fingers and hope you get a health puppy and that you don't ever have to deal with ashley and a refund because i can assure you it will be a very long process, and in the end you will get nothing from ashley and ms puppy connection except a bunch of excuses. in the end and over 1000.00 in vet bills on top of his purchase price and delivery price i am happy to say he is doing well and we love him. ashley and ms puppy connection is not what we thought they were. please be very careful if you are concidering purchasing a puppy from ashley and ms puppy connection.
