You will receive a faked email from a reputable online recruiter asking you to send your cv through an email address of which it is mentioned within the boy of the email.

The email is very well crafted to the extent, that, it appears as a solicited and legitimate email, even when you exam email full header.

The email reaches you as a professional hired service using any of the esteemed online recruiters logos and artwork e.g. monster.com, email headers, including a link to direct you to a valid web page, fully qualified internet address for this online recruiter.

The email announces that A COMPANY is hiring at all positions for a new branch openning, and interested candidates should send their cv to email address jobs@mtcasso.com asking to call Dr Kelt Hunter at Tel: + (233) 541571749 for a confirmation of receipt of cv.

When you call the number, you will be very well answered, an then transferred to the so called funny name of Dr Kelt Hunter. He will tell you that your cv is under verification and you will be contacted if short listed.

If you went to the domain name you will find a nice set up, all the data required, a very awesome company, well organised and promising.

Two to three days you receive an email to congratulates you. They will ask you to start a procedure, that ends with sending you a written and signed job offer.

At this point they will ask for no money to be transferred. Then you will receive ann email tells you that in order to process the visa you need under the Ghana labour law, to be certified from an international body. So, you are subject to transfer the money to a person ( an individual ) who will be introduced as the accountant.

Here you will be alerted or not. The trick is that everything looks original and legitimate. They will as you to transfer less than USD 1000 . They will generously call you to the level you may think twice, how come they are fraudulent and consume all this money on international calls. The answer is simple, it is a calculated risk!

If you then to be highly alerted, and took all the correspondents visiting the Ghana Embassy they will confirm that this is a scam.

The problem arises when irresponsible employees or security officers at online recruiters do not reply to your inquiry about the solicitation of their company and the email received carrying their emailbox identification in the email header received.
