This is absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. ..they have lied and stolen from me and countless others in the Memphis community!!!! First of all we rented a home from this company for almost 10 years .. they were horrible on fixing maintenance issues ....but my biggest complaint is their theft of our deposit.. The owner, TOM CONLEE , owned this particular house...and even though the rent was paid...he DID not pay the mortgage and the home was for closed on by the VA. We were given no heads up about this even though he was well aware of the situation and even went so far as to continue to tell us that it was a scam and tries to continue to collect rent from us on a house he didn't own!!!! After that we were told that yes we would receive our 850.00 security deposit since they didn't own the home but we had to wait a month. .which we did....we were told the check was mailed ....it was not! We have been given the run around for months. .called 100s of times and they will not even answer the phone for us . We filed a BBB report which they would not respond to. They are liars and Theives and will rip you off in any way possible. I am going to take them to small claims court as it is obviously the only way to get my money back

My comment is in response to the complaint filed by, "Marjorie" and the legal action mentioned as to the wrong doing by Mr. Lade Thomas Conlee, Jr., the owner of MTC Management/Management That Cares in Germantown, TN. Marjorie: I have spoken to over 60 former tenants within the last two years, of TOM CONLEE's SECURITY DEPOSIT SCAM(S) THAT HAPPEN TO BE VICTIMS JUST LIKE YOU!! AND THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING!! BEFORE YOU FILE A LAWSUIT, PLS CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY AS WE MAY HELP EACH OTHER BRING JUSTICE TO ALL VICTIMS, TOGETHER!! I myself am a victim of Tom Conlee's vicious lies, deceite and unethical wrongdoing and would like to speak with you about all the stories I have been told, as well as my OWN!!
