MURPHY INDUSTRIAL OILFIELD INC / BROOKLYN OILFIELD SERVICES LTD FRAUD, RIPPED OFF EMPLOYEES, REFUSES TO PAY WAGES OWED, Edson Alberta

This company is run by Wayne Murphy. Waynes Murphy's partner is Barry Berggren. I went to work for the company owned by these two con-artists, the company is Murphy Oilfield Services. This company provides services to the oilpatch in Alberta and those services include trucking of fluids and water. At the end of my first shift with these two con-artists I quit.

Wayne Murphy and Barry Berggren had asked me to add hours to customer invoices I had not worked and inflate the bills. They told me that if I wanted to be paid overtime I would have to submit to their companies falsified "expense reciepts" so they could avoid paying government workers comp premiums on the wages. In addition they ordered me to empty my trailer of contaminated fluid at the side of a road or on the oil companies lease in order to avoid the expense of properly heating their trailer sump valves with heat tracing.

These two con-artists routinely endanger their employees by not providing safety equipment such as safety glasses and fall-harnesses when working over allowed heights.

Now after refusing to commit fraud and work with a couple of con-artists I have had no luck in collecting almost 500.00 in wages. Wayne Murphy has said "we will never pay you a dime". I am having a hell of a time collecting my wages from these two thieves.

In filing my claim against this company I stumbled across another of Wayne Murphy's con-artist games. He own's a company called "Lobo Music Corporation" and represents himself to be a "music producer" who is "well connected in Nashville". This is just another one of his numerous scams as he rips off hopeful artists by offering them "recording contracts" and then taking large sums of money. I contacted 6 major record producers in Nashville like Lonnie Ratliff and Jim Pierce, none of them had ever heard of this grifter.

Wayne Murphy has numerous companies and plays shell-games with people he rips off, always hiding behind one company or another.

Another scam Wayne Murphy was running was the "Alberta Business Directory". Wayne Murphy was charging large amounts of money to list with this company as well as Wayne Murphy's internet scam "ispyalberta.com" . Wayne Murphy represented himself and his internet directory to be a 'premium service'" The reality was it was just another con-artist scam.

I recommend that all prospective employees avoid these two men and their companies like the plague. As an employee they will rip you off and place you in danger. As a customer you will most certainly be over- billed and ripped off. Once you confront Wayne Murphy with the ripoffs he pulls he becomes extremely vindictive and vicious.
