I contracted with this company to dj my daughter's graduation party. I used them because of their low price - the package for a dj for 4 hours along with party favors came to $329.00. I thought I was getting a good deal. The day of the party, the dj arrived one hour late, came with two other guys who were suppose to help him set up. My guests were left waiting for an hour for the guys to set their equipment set up and to top it off, the three guys were dressed in black denim shorts and t-shirts for a formal party at a catering hall (the owner of the company assured me that his staff would be appropriately dressed). Then the dj refused to play the songs on the playlist that we gave to the office one week before the party. The party favors that we paid paid was not available so I did not have anything to give to the kids at the party (they told me they would give me a refund).
I also gave them a deposit for my daughter's Sweet 16. I wanted my money back because I wasn't going to take a second chance for this company to ruin another party for me. I called, left messeages, sent them a certified letter, reported them to the Better Business Bureau - I was given empty promises - these parties happen one year ago! They promised to give me back my money but so far, they have refused to return my calls and when I did speak with the owner and his wife, Sandra, they accused me of slandering their company by speaking the truth about what happened at my party.
What should I do? I just want to warn anyone else from using this company. They are a fraud and they misrepresent themselves and their services. Before I contracted with them, I asked for some references. I just realized that they used their own employees to give good referrals for their company because I talked to the same person at their office who was on their referral list.

I am familiar this DJ company and have seen their performance at a past event. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ. I am surprised by the original report, and I am not nor was I ever an employee.

I would like to rebut what Maggie from Ridge had to say. You must be a very lucky person because you were the only one who ever had anything good to say about this company. If you read all the other posts, you will see that everyone's complaints against this company and its owner, Jonathan, were very similar. I have tried to contact them to resolve my complaint against this company but they either refuse to return my calls, they promise to refund my money, and then threaten to sue me for libel. I had over fifty guests who witnessed the whole disaster and unprofessional behavior, along with the catering hall's sales manager. By the way, please check your grammar before you post - if you want anyone to take your comments seriously.

I had a wedding done by mtyedjs Jonathan after seeing over 40 different videos and live testimonials Which I would like all the readers to see before believing what you reader check out www.youtube/mtyedjs2 . The reason why I selected Jonathan or
aka DJ/MC Jon he was well dressed
And well spoken he brought energy to my wedding that was amazing the dance floor was never empty! My guests were having a great time when he was on the mic hyping up everyone they were having fun and laughing that made me feel good to see all my guests having a great time!
Im telling all the readers that anyone can type up anything they want to but VIDEOS Speak for them Selfs.. VIDEOS do
not LIE people who write ripoff reports dont even leave there names so that the companies they are writing about have a chance to recertify the problem or replace things that were not received how fair is that to the companies? No one
thinks before they engage there mouths they just see
Say what they want to say no matter what damage they do to people.. This report was written all due to a video breaking in transit which I am sure could have been replaced had this person called and asked! I would like to tell all the people that in the year of 2010 MTYEDJS was closed down for renovation because the company was growing to fast and did not want to take on to much with out hiring more staff to cover the demand so they could stay true to there word about being on time to there parties
They did not want to take on more then they could handle. This I know because I called them to do a block party but they were unavailable at this time! Like I said before take a look at www.youtube.com/mtyedjs2 and you will see the amazing work they do!
Many other DJ companies have made ripoff report as well this is unfair to all the people involves with this origination here are a few I found and there are many more. Stop hiding behind anonymous and put your info down so these companies
can try to correct the problem dont slander them all over the net its not fair at all!
