MUST High School told me in writing "MUST is fully accredited and recognized nationally and internationally, so you can pursue education in any college / university or you can get a better job with this."  I was trying to assist a student with lost high school transcripts.  She paid them for "classes" and then called to ask me questions.  My first red flag is the website - www.musthighschool.COM, not .EDU.  It they were recognized by the department of educaiton, they could use EDU - this should help many of you with your search.  In fairness, they are accredited.  However, the accreditation body, IAO, is not recognized.  The "dipoloma" isn't worth the paper it's printed on.  If you plan to complete high school online, go to an online PUBLIC high school.  The benefits are that they are free (actually, your taxes pay your tuition just like a traditional high school), and they are run by the state so accreditation is not an issue.  The links on this site show the online public high schools in your state: http://www.k12.com/schools-programs/online-public-schools/.  Also, here is a link for information on GED testing:

The moral of this story is that people lie, schools lie, etc.  It happens!  There are lots of resources to verify if a school or accrediting body are legitimate.  Is there web address .EDU?  Call your state's department of education - do they recognize the school?  If you can get a high school diploma in weeks or months, it's too good to be true.  GEDs are not offered online and high school takes time.  It takes most people 4 years!  Use resources and verify, verify, verify...
