Mwi essentials ripoff Raleigh North Carolina

charges to my bank card for 3 months for 8.95 were made fraudulantly. After discovering the charges and calling the 800 number the telephone representative stated that I ordered some fashion discount service for stores such as JCPenney etc. over the phone via a television infomercial. When my husband called they stated that they had contacted us and we ordered this service contract. They have the account in my husbands name but are charging my debit card number from the bank. All they stated is a lie-we were never contacted by this company, nor did we order anything from the television, and we NEVER use our debit cards to order from the tv or the web. How did this company access our account? I called the bank and was told the company submitted paperwork to the bank authorizing the $8.95/monthly charge as a debit to our account that we had supposedly authorized. I will probably have to cancel my bank account to resolve the problem as we have not had a good response for cancellation or refund from this company.
