To whom it may concern:

I am writing this, because I live in Tucson, Arizona and this Company Simple Escapes2 has hit my account account twice in the last year, First on February 13th 2002. I called Bank of America and talked to Cy regarding these charges. They were suppose to remove this charge they never did.

I incurred late charges on my account as well as dings on my credit report. I finally closed the account with Bank of America. Then on February 25th 2003 the very same process started happening again. The really funny thing is I closed this account back in February 2002 with Bank of America.

Now how can you charge on a closed account??How do you allow charges to incur on a closed account? I called Bank of America again, and asked them this very question her response was we can open this account for special creditors. i asked her about my rights, she said don't charge on the account.

I told her I didn't charge on the account. I asked her to remove this charge on the account she said I had to do a fraud investigation and the charges would be removed. I spoke to Cy on Feb 2002 and the charges remained on my account. I recently was charged again in Feb 2003 and have received several late charge fee.

I finally paid the account June 2002 and now its starting all over. Simple Escapes2 got me for $149.95 plus over 179.00 in late fees the first time and $159.95 the second time around. I am amazed that they can charge on a closed account and then Bof A can send me a bill.

I would also check the relationship between Simple Escape2 and Bank of America. To allow charges to go through a closed account and to send a bill out, kind of makes you wonder about the relationship between the two companies.
