On 09/18/2008, I applied for Cosmetic Surgery financing through My Choice Medical, based on the fact that all of their radio advertisements guarantee financing. I spoke with a representative and authorized her to debit $25 from my checking account. She pulled my credit report and informed me that I was approved for 50% financing. The representative then asked for an additional $199 to set a consultation appointment with a surgeon. I paid it with my checking account.
I met with the surgeon and his staff on 09/23/2008. I liked him, so I set the surgery for 10/07/2008. I met with the My Choice Medical representative and paid her the first installment in the amount of $1305.00.
Two hours later, My Choice Medical cancels my surgery and now REFUSES TO REFUND MY DEPOSITS OR RETURN MY CALLS! They have absconded with $1529 of my money!
Find another source for financing your cosmetic surgery. My Choice Medical is the worst of its kind! Why else would they have so many different names for the same product?

Guaranteed financing is offered by the independent board certified surgeons within the My Choice Medical marketing program to first time customers. This policy is stated in the marketing materials provided to each consumer, and is expressed to all consumers that contact our company. Financing for repeat consumers, however, is not guaranteed. This financing is subject to new credit approval.
If a repeat consumer has an existing financial obligation within the program, and he or she wishes to receive financing for a new procedure, he or she will be subject to new credit approval which will include a comprehensive review of the prior financing experience within the program and as a result he or she may or may not receive additional financing.
Once a consumer elects to proceed and enters into a financing arrangement, he or she assumes an obligation to repay all sums due and owing in accordance with the terms of the agreements governing the debt.
In order to resolve disputes efficiently, My Choice Medical offers the consumer the opportunity to submit the matter, along with any other matters involving the consumer, to binding arbitration if a consumer believes he or she has been treated unfairly.
