I was reading about becoming a Health Coach when this pop up came on my screen.  It said I had 38 virusus that needed removed.  I had 3 choices to buy virus removal from $19.95 to $99.90.

After numerous tries to get it off my screen & even shutting my PC off & it came back up with an all blue background with my Icons.

I finally decided to buy the $19.95 removal but was charged $99.90.  I was not given any option to print a copy of purchase. Also, I was not given any  phone numbers or address to contact them.

Rogue...

AUTHOR: 3DS OMG - (Afghanistan)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 25, 2011

That was a rogue virus that infected your computer. They then say you have xx amount of viruses which isn't true then they want you to purchase their product. Put yiur computer into safe mode and delete it off your computer. Also check your credit card statements since they tend to steal your credit card details. Your best solution to block rogue viruses would be to use an adblocking software such as Adblock on firefox.
