DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! EVER!!

Okey, so a middle class family can sometimes get into a pinch. It has happened to most everyone and we were no different. We had some unexpected expenses, namely a trip to the ER for our daughter, which could not be avoided. We new it would throw our bank account into turmoil but we didn't have access to any emergency funds. So we researched the web to find a low-priced, fast, and preferably on-line based means by which to get a payday advance.

We found MyCashNow.com. It promised a quick approval and an overnight deposit of the borrowed funds at a rate of about $10 per $100. Sounds perfect, right?!? We thought so to, so we applied.

We completed the online application and faxed all the necessary paperwork to the company within the span of an hour or so. Then the wait began.

Day 1....."Bank Statement Recieved. Awaiting approval."
Day 2....."Bank Statement Recieved. Awaiting approval."
Day 3....."Bank Statement Recieved. Awaiting approval."
Day 4....."Bank Statement Recieved. Awaiting approval."

We never recieved any communication from this company and the only indication on our status was the internet messages recieved above and the automated phone system which declared the same. No phone calls, no emails, no indication of any delays.

By Day 5, our bank account was in the negative as we had so feared, no funds were expected for another week, and groceries in our cuboards were running very, very low. We finally called.

There had been a hang-up. They were unable to verify my husbands employment. He is a teacher, it is summer, it may have proved difficult to accomplish, I admit. But all they had to do was contact us for an alternate number when the first proved fruitless. I mean, honestly, how hard is it for someone to realize that if you aren't getting an answer from an employer to contact the applicant?! Further, his paychecks are directly deposited with a detailed description of the source of the funds (ie the school district name, etc). A fact clearly indicated on the bank statement we sent them.

They neither called nor emailed and perhaps wouldn't have if we hadn't contacted them ourselves. 4 Days had passed!! The purpose of the entire exploit had already escalated and the loan was completely pointless now.

Thankfully it was cancelled easily enough, but what a terrible ordeal and such a bad outcome for something so rediculous as the need for contacting us!!!! Anybody with some degree of intelligence would know to initiate some sort of contact!
