My wife was doing the bills and asked me about this charge. We called the associated number and they swore that I had signed up for their 800 voice mail service. I didn't, and had them cancel it immediately. They refused to reverse the charges which had already been made (fortunately, only two months worth).
When I called the company directly and explained why I was calling, Melinda (the operator) put me on hold, came back on, gave me their email address and wouldn't answer any other questions.
They pulled this same scam back in August through one of their other services. I can see from a search that they're under investigation and facing class action lawsuits. What do we have to do to stop them?

This co. is trying to get me as well. Just like u I never signed up for their services and until today did not even know they existed. When calling them to inquire I to got the run around and no concrete proof I ever signed up for their mess. The people I spoke with were rude, on edge and hostile the more we talked and I demanded proof of when I signed up and the email confirmation they sent. They could provide neither. After some discussion they agreed to refund me a part of MY MONEY. But I was not satisfied. Why should I let them keep 1 cent? After doing some research I found that this co. out of Forest Lake, MN is having all kinds of problems because of their practice of sending out these bogus emails and signing people up without their permission. There are even some lawsuites out there against them and FCC complaints. The BBB rates them an F. I've filed a complaint with the BBB in MN. I also fault AT&T and others for aligning themselves with such a garbage co. as they have been given an avenue to try and steal from their clients.
