Promised refund from MyLife.com

AUTHOR: april - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, May 07, 2011

I was on their website trying to find old friends/relatives... Normally I would never pay for a service as this but in no way could find someone so I decided to pay for one month at $12.95 as soon as I entered all the necessary information, seems something happened on their page and I looked at my bank acct on line and indeed, low and behold, they charged me for one month PLUS for ONE year at $117.00! That IS rediculas! Im VERY upset and emailed a Lucy that did at least reply to my emails... at least that. She finally said after I had to MAKE her say the words, said they would refund the $117 and that it would take 10 days. I talked with my bank and If I do not have my money within the time promised which will be the beginning of next week, my bank said they will issue me a credit and contact the company themselves in filing a fraudulant claim that they charged my CC without permission for the $117.00. I do at least have emails stating I will get it.... We will see. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING as this again! NEVER!
