Yes, on behalf of the company I did present a business proposal and an agreement to split the proceeds for the investment for the purchase of a CD Duplicator and product stock to several  new potential business partners and a friend.  The agreement was for the investors and friend to receive training which no one showed up.  Several, sales techniques, and training classes were provided by the company showing how to use the machine which I was the only one to sit with the technician in order to learn the machine.  

It was also stated that the investors would bring business as well as promote the business and company to a target market of those who needed CD burning or duplicating which was not done at all and I found myself being the only one working towards that goal since it is a business that have a passion for and willing to build.  The advertising campaign cost me thousands of dollars.

The Investor/Friend? did have an interest in being in the business of modeling.    I photograph her and did her makeup about 5 years ago for free and she never did anything with her pictures.   As far as her son is concern a hansom young man so I placed a call to my so called friend who is the mother of the child and suggested that I included him in the referral acting casting company which she agreed.  I photographed him for free as well and we did a couple of clothing changes, printed his pictures, a few composite cards and  his pictures were sent to various casting companies.  It was also explained that the photos were to be used for that purpose only.  She had call me to ask me for a copies of the pics so that she can give them to family members which in my busy schedule I didn't have time to print or send them for that occasion "sorry". I think I may have sent her a couple by email.  Really don't remember! Now this is the first time I'm hearing about this, so this is why I haven't heard from you.  You could of just called and spoke with me not a problem thou.  Evidently you were checking up on my name and company to see how the business was going so you googled it and found the rip off report from a previous client and decided to add your comments after not hearing from you for two years.

Well for your information the business and myself are doing ok  though we struggle through this economy like everyone else.   Unfortunately my company policy does not allow me to disclosed the name of this person because we do believe in protecting costumer privacy.  

My company and myself have always tried to take care of friends and family as well as present a content professionalism to our clients but unfortunately trying to provide opportunities to friends is not a good idea. 

Advice and lessons I've learn over the years.

Never do business with an investor who doesn't have an interest in the business your in especially when they don't have the time to spend with the business.

Stop trying to provide your friends with opportunities because they believe when something goes wrong or not in there favor you owe them even more.

Never due business with friends who only talk a good game and are excited in the beginning but do not put forth the work efforts. An make sure the investor in business minded, talented and up to the responsibilities of working in the business.

Make sure that each party understand that it is a chance business but it has to be promoted and marketed.

Be careful of investors who use there own product for personal reasons which is not in the best interest of the company.

Never create a conflict of interest between free and a investment.

An as an investor keep track of the investment and make sure they have a clear precise understanding of the investment.

Wendy, Darryl Jones did something similar to me and my son. The worst part about it is, I was his friend for over 5 years. Don't know what he's doing w/these children's  photos but we sure never got them. The pictures he took were nice. Since him and I were good friends, he wasn't charging me because he said he wanted to represent my son and send out his pictures to a couple of casting agents for a new movie.

About 2 years before this incident, I helped Darryl out by investing in his business and paying half for a CD duplication machine. I put it all on my credit card for him and Darryl did give me his half in cash but I've never seen a dime for any CD's he's duplicated on that machine and sold. We are no longer friends because he kept giving me the run around when I was trying to come to his studio to pick up my son's photos. It took a few nasty emails before he told me I could just come there and pick up the photos. It wasn't that simple at all. We really wanted those photos. I'm sorry for your loss. I suppose you can be thankful Darryl wasn't your friend because like the saying goes...with friends like that who needs enemies?

I've been a photographer and manager in the music business with a excellent reputation for over 30 years and has never had a bad report such as this from any of my clients an as a business owner if there was a problem I would surely address it. First of all you stated that you were having some pics taken for your daughter for her modeling agent then why would I claim to get you work that's what your agent does. I've work with agents before they are paid to get work for their clients. Then you stated that I charged you $400 dollars. If that was the case then your child must of had several clothing and hair changes because my prices stays the same for every customer depending on how many clothing changes, pictures or composites are being printed.

Then you stated that I said that I was managing Yun Joc which everyone knows is managed by Bloc Entertainment/BadBoy Entertainment. Mike Millz handles his own business affairs. I have worked very closely with him if you need to contact him I will be more than happy to put you in touch and he has worked out of my recording studio located in Far Rockaway and he will tell you that I'm not his manager. Cassie is also with BadBoy you can look on the back of any album to see the credits of any artist. Now I'm sure you've seen their videos and from their history know which label they're with so why would I even claim such. Now if you came to me for pictures what does The Platform Entertainment Group, Inc have to do with your statements or claims that I've ripped off artist? Any of the independent artist or professional knows that the company and I have invested a lot of time, money and experience into developing their careers.

If you had a problem with me or my company then you should of contacted me instead of posting out of anger or frustration. You also stated that you came to my office and I gave you excuses why I had to leave so why didn't you mention this when you saw me if you felt I ripped you off. I would of surely said something if it were me standing inside of your office and you ripped me off. The company and I cannot make false accusation or claims in managing anyone who is not signed directly to our music roster by me due to NY State Laws.

Furthermore, you stated that I scammed you but the pictures were very nice and you said that the pictures would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. As most in this industry know, especially if they have an agent, it doesn't take that long to receive pictures. Every client receives their photos on a disc following the photo shoot unless they only left a deposit or other circumstances or business has been conducted.

As a photographer I hold high regard and do not photograph children under the age of 18 without the written permission and the presence of a parent or guardian. There is a signed permission document verifying the photo shoot, statements and payment policy in my office and available for verification.

I do apologize to our current customers and prospective customers for the outlandish statements which have been made by one of our former customers who is very unhappy and confused about the modeling, casting and entertainment business.
