Upon checking my email, I happened upon this email from a supposed "damsel in distress": "My Greetings to you,
Please Respond to me through my private email for more details and directives. It is my pleasure to write you, I decided to contact you to help me out of my problem, however is not mandatory nor will I in any manner compel you to honour against your will. Please permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you. I got your contact on triond.com I prayed and selected your name among other names due to my trust and my faith in God; I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere clean business 100% risk free assurance. first Iet me introduce myself to you.
I am Miss Nana the only daughter of late Mr.Joseph My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan the economic capital of Ivory Coast West Africa. My late father explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates. That I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as real estate management or hotel management. My gentleman nature struck first, thinking that it was real and that this young woman had chosen me, and me alone to help her. Then my dementia departed and cynical sanity returned. I immediately researched her name to see what I could find. What did I find? Another email:

Wow, her father was not only died from poison but apparently got back up, and proceeded to die in a car crash! How tragic! And this poor woman has been in school three years longer than she should have been! Even more tragic!

So please, when you pity this somewhat mentally challenged young woman whom lost her parents twice, instead of sending her your personal information, try sending flowers instead, or at least a warm, comforting email reminding her everything will be ok. That's what she really needs ;)
