A few years ago, I went to Nap's to replace the original water pump in my car. The one I had in there had lasted 11 years and over 130k with no problems whatsoever- I only replaced it at their advice. They charged me over $130 for a replacement +labor, which is almost as much as the Lexus OEM water pump. I could have overlooked that if it wasn't for the fact that within 1 WEEK, I got stranded on the side of a highway with a car that had overheated to the maximum extent possible. The brand new water pump they had charged so much for had FAILED within days!
I had it towed back there, and I replaced it with the EXACT SAME SHODDY PART that had failed the first time. Now, less than 45k later, I got stranded on some back road in the middle of now where because their wonderful water pump failed again. This time, they won't honor it under warranty and tell me tough luck. God only knows what damage all that overheating did to my car, but they won't even stand behind their terrible parts. DO NOT support this business, they do not have a shred of integrity.

I feel like a real a-hole now. It turns out, they had used an OEM part the 2nd time around, and that failed anyway. It wasn't their fault, but they towed my car 12 miles to their shop for free, and gave me a really good deal on a replacement water pump, even though the warranty had expired years ago. They have a stellar repuation in my community, and now I see why. They are honest, reasonable, fair, and good people. I would go there again or recommend them to a friend anyday. If they read this, please forgive me. I was upset that my car had failed, displaced my anger in the wrong place, and was a jerk for filing a report on ripoffreport.com. Sorry Nap's, you guys are a class act.
