I, too, am a victim of NADN (National Audit Defense Network) and their mall-4-all scam marketing. I honestly NEEDED and WANTED a money-making online business, and the slick salesmen convinced me that was what I would get, if I marketed it properly, as well as earning (legally) the IRS deductions afforded to business owners and those selfless people (like me) who "help" the handicapped access the internet. I even purchased their marketing program for an additional $1500 (a bargain, as it is usually $3000--do I have stupid on my forehead? YES!)

I put all these charges on my visa, along with the rest of the NADN membership program charges that now equal $10,000 on my credit card! That $10,000 is in addition to the nearly $16,000 paid on a note for each of 2 malls).

Of couse, I am supposed to "click away" the notes on these malls (except for the setup fee, that is hidden and most don't know about. Check your back home office--it is there and must be paid off unless you've paid it in CASH or SALES, not clicks). So far I have clicked away half of one mall--in 2 years. However, the interest keeps coming in, and the price goes back up. And the only clicks that count are the two "featured" merchants.

Also, did anyone else know about the $2500 Mall set-up fee that can't be clicked away? THAT must be paid by CASH or SALES through the mall, not clicks, and is in addition to the main purchase price of the mall (only about 1% of what you or your customers might buy gets credited toward that note--I've paid 6 cents on it!) I was just told of this second "set up" note on each mall by another telemarketer who is trying to sell marketing for Mall for All sites. I looked on my note. It is there under the "site balance" tab. I never even KNEW about it. I assumed the $2500 charge was what I had already paid up front!

When I purchased the second mall, I was told I was getting an upgrade to the first mall, and did it, hoping to be able to have more to market in my business. To me, this WAS a business, and I needed to work it to make money! When the paperwork came from Oryan, however, it was for a SECOND mall (new zip), not an upgrade to the first one. I tried for 3 months to get NADN/Oryan to refund the money and cancel the second mall. I did not want to market 2 malls!

Like so many others, I got only voice mail, or the "operator" who would "leave a message and have them call me back" (I kept a paper record of all the calls I made, which may help me or may not). The way I finally got them to call back was to say I was interested in purchasing another mall. They called immediately, and I blasted them. Of course the person I talked to (no name) said he would have to get back to me, because he didn't have my records, and of course he never did.

I finally took a trip to Las Vegas and went to NADN in person. I was assured that all was legal, but since "too much time" had passed, I could not get a refund for the second mall--I only had a few days where this was possible. Just a credit for other services was available (and that was onlyl because I was such a "good" customer!) I was told I was "silly" to give up $5,000 in tax credits for $3,000 I paid.

Gullible, I caved, despite my tries and misgivings (and gut instincts in the opposite) in the past, and I accepted the second mall along with a (worthless) "free" marketing plan from NADN--which I never got. Anyway, their idea of a $1500 marketing plan is a few papers that tell YOU how to market your own site. I had been promised they would create pop-ups, etc., to help me promote my sites. This, I understand, was a lie and the "sales person" who told me this has since been fired. Well, doesnt' help ME much, does it!

I might add, while I was waiting in NADN's front lobby, about 6 sales people (potential) came in for interviews, and 2 were hired in the time I waited for my turn--about an hour. Talk about overkill! They must have been making bucoe bucks to hire such a large sales staff!

Needless to say, I am now fearful not only of the scams and lost money, but of an IRS retribution for taking any of these credits! (I understand the IRS has sued to get lists of client names, as well as sued NADN for their scams.) How did someone honest who just wanted to make some extra money (and get all the deductions that were LEGAL) ever get involved with these guys? I never wanted to scam anyone. I wanted to be an honest business owner, with HONEST deductions. It looks like there are a potload of us!!!

By the way, NADN sales department have had the NERVE to call and try to sell me a THIRD mall about 5 times a week for the past 4 months--often at my place of employment! I finally told them if they didn't stop calling, I'd report them (but to who?) They did finally stop calling, but the last one "warned" me that I'd probably get audited and have to give up all deductions if I did not purchase another mall.

According to about 15 different people who called, it would look to the IRS like I was just buying deductions if I didn't continue to pay to "work" the mall. OH, they are good! Fear is a good selling tool (but thankfully, this time, I didn't bite! Mostly because I didn't have any room left on my visa!) And thankfully, I didn't let them incorporate me like they wanted to do.

I want no more to do with these guys, either. IF there is a class action suit, I'll sign on the top of the list! What an expesive, expensive lesson! The problem is, I NEEDED extra money as I have a daughter who needed a liver transplant. Can I get them for murder if she dies? They took all my funds with promises of great returns that never have (and never will) materilize! Bankruptcy is next (but even that wont' erase any back taxes that IRS may want to recoup!)

WARNING (if you still have any doubts). DON'T GO THERE!!! Help with clicks would also be appreciated, if it turns out we MUST pay the malls off. I will be awaiting the IRS lawsuit results and awaiting my own summons from the IRS for "non-allowed business" claims (even though I really DID feel that I was running a business)!

NADN still trying to sell their scams!

AUTHOR: Jeanne - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 23, 2004

Just a sidenote to all this frustration (and anger) we who purchased web sites through NADN are experiencing, (and all the harrassing that has followed this "investment")... I wrote this original complaint, and now have an update.

Today (April 23, 2004), another slick salesman from NADN called me (even after I had left strict instructions with the last one for NO ONE to call me any more and to put me on their "no call" list). This one tried to sell me yet another marketing package for the malls I have purchased ($2000 hit generator that will get me first on google and several other search engines, he said, and turn me a BIG profit) so that the IRS would not think I was just after this mall as a tax writeoff!!! To make matters worse, he called me at WORK, so I certainly didn't wish to go into the whole thing over the phone with co-workers around. I left my work number with the tax preparer (they still have my 2003 taxes) in case there were questions, but definitely not for the sales department!

I really thought this group was through with me (and through trying to sell this stuff). They are not. And they are as hard-sell (almost to name calling if you don't want to talk to them about any of this or if you say you will not buy anything more from them) as they ever were. Maybe they need more of our money for their legal defenses! I was more or less told "OK. If you won't buy, you can kills your tax deductions goodbye, because you will look like you bought this for a deduction only!" (I already kissed my deductions--and all my money--goodbye!) Talk about fear mongers!

I did contact the office of Evan Davis to cooperate with their investigation, and they returned my call and asked me to tell them a good time for us to talk. I left another message, but have not yet heard back, as the assistant was going to be out of town until Monday.

I am so MORTIFIED that I got taken by this group. I visited the company and met many of them before I became involved. I've always been so cautious and prided myself on sniffing out a scam. Guess my sniffer got clogged, big time!

Jean, please contact me, Department of Justice attorney who filed the recent lawsuit against NADN

AUTHOR: Evan Davis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 19, 2004

Jean:

I am the Department of Justice attorney who filed the recent lawsuit against NADN. I may want to use you as a witness in our case, based on a few things that you said. Please contact me at evan.j.davis@usdoj.gov.

For whomever else is reading this message, if they wish to send me a detailed e-mail describing the tax-related promises and statements from NADN or Success Matrix Group, I will put the description in the file and contact you if I need an additional witness. I anticipate receiving many e-mails, so please do not expect to receive a response to your message.

I am working exclusively on the tax case against NADN and the associated persons. If you have questions about your own tax situation, please contact the IRS at 1-866-775-7474. The IRS also should add information to its website soon about NADN and Oryan. If you have questions about refunds, please contact the US Bankruptcy Court in Las Vegas and/or the FTC and/or the Nevada Attorney General's office.

Thank you,

I got ripped off too

AUTHOR: Dax - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 17, 2004

Same thing happened to me. I fell for the $1500 makerting plan. I was flat out lied to about it, promising me it would generate funds for my business and help take down my promissory note. It in turn was only a 20 odd page booklet with tips on how to market my business. I called and complained and tried to get my money back. They agree to give my money back but after trying to get the 1500 dollars back after 9 months I gave up. A representive from NADN called and told me that if I didn't keep the business plan that the IRS has good reasoning to audit me. So I caved in because I was tired of dealing with them. I too wish I would had done more research on this company. I just recently signed up for my 4 mall....big mistake after ready everyone replies to this company.

Mall for All $2500 site balance - not additional owing

AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 16, 2004

I just wanted to alleviate your concerns about the $2500 site balance you mentioned.

(from your post)
"Also, did anyone else know about the $2500 Mall set-up fee that can't be clicked away? This isn't actually money to HAVE to pay off. Oryan Management gets 10% of any sales from your website "up to" a maximum of $2500 in 8 years. You don't owe it, its just the maximum commisions they are allow to take off of your site sales. (Per converstion with people at Oryan Management) At least you can relax about that issue.

Also the "sponsered" clicks will pay off the interest that accrues also.

Hope this helps you feel a small bit better.
