National Business Information Exchange ripoff scam fraud liars Chesapeake Beach Maryland

National Business Information Exchange AKA NBIE Led me to belive they updating their corporate directory deceptive company dirty ripoff dogs dirty ripoff liars Chesapeake Beach Maryland .....

Contacted me to renew my corporate telecom directory they send out every year. Said that our organization is a current customer(not true and that they are updating there data-base to make sure all shipping, mailing and contact info is correct.

Led me to belive they were entering our namein the directory for "three ninety nine" This to me means $3.99, I said OK.

Well, a month later , we get an invoice for $399.00. When I called NBIE on 12/30/02, I was connected with an employee who disconnected me when i asked to speak to my sales rep. The next time i called back, I asked for her to connect me again. This time she transfered me to the wrong person. After a third call, I explained to her that we never recieved the CD.

She put me on hold for a minute, the came back to tell me the package was shipped and signed for by somebody named "Davis". I have never heard of this person.I said, "Who's Davis?" She replied,"You tell me" She went on to say I would have to call back on Monday because they were closed.

There are some deceptive tactics going on here!

I contacted the company that handles our PO box. They show no record of anything being sent from NBIE to us.

When I mentioned that "Davis", signed for the package, the lady at the Mail box office said "I'm Davis", but I never use that name when signing for packages.

HMMMM!

I want to stop these individuals. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
