Paid my property taxes myself in 2006 & 2007 ask National City to lower the monthly payments accordingly but they wouldn't now they have over $4000.00 dollars of mine in an escrow account. I was under the impression that there was a law about how much they were allowed to collect, guess that only applies to individuals and not companies.
Refinancing right now, can't wait to tell them to piss off.

Was the mortgage company taking money from you to pay the taxes? If so, why did you pay them and not the company? I'm missing something here.
