On June 6th, I scheduled with National Detail Pros to have my Mastercraft X5 boat detailed on June 15th. National Detail Pros sent out the detail shop they work with and once they completed the job they asked my husband to come out and sign off on the job.  There were 2 gentlemen and a child that came out to the appointment and only one of the adults spoke English.  My husband walked around the boat with the one that spoke English and showed him all of his concerns.  Everything he pointed out he was told that they were stains and they wouldn’t come out.  So, my husband signed off on the job and immediately got into the boat and started to clean it.  I got off work and called my husband and to see how the detail went.  He said, “Not good.  I’m in the boat with Simple Green cleaning up what they said was stained.”  I told him to stop because I paid for the most expensive detail and they needed to get it right.  He was worried about them coming back out because he could tell they weren’t sure about what they were supposed to do.  The one that he could communicate with him told him he only does the outside of the boat and doesn’t know anything about the inside of the boat.  The guy working on the inside of the boat didn’t speak English.  There was a lot that hadn't been cleaned. We called National Detail Pros., Inc. and asked for them to send a different detail shop out and they refused stating that we had to give them another chance. So, we did.

They came back out on June 20th and did another complete detail that left my boat damaged and still dirty.  Not as dirty as the first time but still dirty.  They pulled the letter off of the boat and damaged them when they pulled them off.  The letters are cracked and split and when he attempted to put them back on he couldn’t get them straight. The letters are no longer available and will need to be custom made.  I have it on camera where it shows the letters are fine and then when he goes to pull it off, you can see it bend in half.  On top of all of that, the boat is still dirty.

I wish I could attach all of my pictures because they speak for themselves.  The windshield is still dirty along with tons of other parts-see below.  This is after the second trip.  I just think the windshield still being dirty says everything.  I was still charged by National Detail Pros in the amount of $552.00 even though I've told them that I have it scheduled to be detailed by another detailer on July 3rd. I will show the receipt once it's completed. I tried to get a quote for the damaged lettering and because the boat is a 2001 it is no longer available and there is no way to fix the damage.  This boat was left to my daughter when her father passed away in a horrible accident 3 years ago.  She is now turning 18 and my husband and I are trying to get it set up to give to her as a gift from her father for her 18th birthday.  If anyone knows of a company that can fix the bubble lettering/decals on a Mastercraft boat, please respond to this complaint.  I need help!!!!

New Detailer CAN NOT Believer how DIRTY my is.

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 03, 2017

I just received a call from the detailer that I hired to fix the horrible job I received from National Detail Pros and he is shocked at the current state of my boat.  He said that his boat that hasn't been cleaned in over 6 years is cleaner than my boat that was detailed twice by the company National Detail Pros sent out to my home.  He is taking pictures and supplying me with a statement for court.

THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF LIES

POSTED: Monday, July 03, 2017

On June 15th the detail crew assigned to this job went and did the detail. They did a full interior detail along with full exterior as well. After the detail crew completed the job, they had Michael Latimer (customers name on scheduled appointment) look the boat over. He did not indicate that he was unhappy (HE WAS SHOCKED AT THE LACK OF WORK THEY'D DONE - IS STILL LOOKED THE SAME AS WHEN THEY SHOWED UP WITH THE DIRT BEING SMUDGED AROUND AND POINTED IT OUT TO THEM - THEY RESPONDED WITH IT'S STAINED) in any way and went over the detail with the detail crew. He then signed off on the work order stating that the job was fully completed and that he is happy with the service (as shown in attachment)(MY HUSBAND DID NOT WANT THAT COMPANY DOING ANYTHING ELSE TO OUR BOAT AS HE COULD TELL THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING.)

Later, Michael's wife called in stating they are not happy with the work at all. The owner of the detail crew that was sent out then contacted the customer and let them know he wants to make them happy with the work (even though when they were on site, Michael told them work was good and signed off on it). The owner then made a new appointment with the customer to send the crew back out to get anything fixed that they were not happy with.(WHEN I GOT OFF OF WORK I CALLED BY HUSBAND TO FIND OUT HOW IT WENT.  HE SAID I'M IN THE BOAT CLEANING UP WHAT THEY SAID WAS STAINED WITH SIMPLE GREEN.  I ASKED HIM TO STOP AND I WOULD CALL THE COMPANY AND ASK THEM TO SEND SOMEONE ELSE OUT BECAUSE I PAID $552.00 FOR THE DETAIL)

We now have spoken to the detail crew about what happened when they went back the second time and confronted them about the 2 cracked letters and this is what we found out:

The crew came back on the 20th and redid much of the detail. Michael pointed out that there was wax residue and complained about that being in the letters. At this point the letters were already cracked (I HAVE CAMERAS ON MY HOME THAT VIDEOED THE ENTIRE DETAIL.  YOU CAN SEE THEM START TO PULL THE LETTERING OFF AND THEN IT SNAPS IN HALF.) most likely from being old and in the sun. (MOST LIKELY IS AN ASSUMPTION AND EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT THAT STANDS FOR LOL) They then removed the letters to get the wax that was left to please the customer and then put them back on but never damaging any of the letters. (THIS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE THIS WAY AND I HAVE A VIDEO OF THE PROPER WAY TO REMOVE WAX AND CAN SHOW THAT MINE WAS EASILY REMOVEABLE WITH A SOFT TOOTHBRUSH) They then had Michael reinspect the boat and then they were told he will have his wife look it over. (MY HUSBAND BEGAIN TO LOOK EVERYTHING OVER AND SHOWED THEM ALL OF THE SPOTS THEY MISSED AND INSTEAD OF FIXING THEM, THEY SAID FOR HIS WIFE TO MAKE A LIST AND THEY'D COME BACK.)  This is when he was told that they were even willing to come back a third time if after she looked it over and was still not happy and to have her make a list if this is the case (because she was not there and was not there the first time, but was the one who was unhappy with the detail). (I DON'T WANT TO SHOW A DETAIL COMPANY HOW TO DO THEIR JOB.  I WANT TO RECEIVE WHAT I PAID FOR THE FIRST TIME WITHOUT DAMAHGES TO MY BOAT.)

The wife ended up still not happy with the 2nd time around. The detail crew was willing to go back a third time to please her but only asked that she either make a list or that she be there at the time because they strive to make every customer happy with the work but neither them nor Michael could point out anything that was still needing fixed (either time they came out). (THIS IS FUNNY BECAUSE MY HUSBAND IS WAY MORE PICKY THAN I AM AND HE TOLD THEM IT WASN'T RIGHT AFTER THE 2ND TRIP.  REALLY...YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LET THEM COME OUT AGAIN TO DAMAGE SOMETHING ELSE.  YOU MUST NOT BE VERY BRIGHT.)

We cannot refund the detail because the detail crew has several hours into this job and Michael did sign off on the work stating he authorizes the charge and he also is satisfied and the work was done in full. We are however offering that they come back when Renae is there to make sure they are happy with their purchase. Renae and Michael are well aware of this and that they are fully committed to stand behind their work.
