I have read this report in regards to this consumer and it is sad to say that when you are not getting the help from your lender and you seek help outside, You then Bash the Help, who will you blame next and slander next.
1. You already didn't do what you were suppose to do as a responsible person to your lender by abiding to the contract that you signed with your lender
2. You choose to hide and place the blame on a company that didn't contact you, then you stated the lender wouldn't help you. You called NFCS and spoke with them and no one forced you to sign up or display what you didn't do.
3. Your arrangement was not set without you, you were on the phone then you break the agreement and blame everyone else for refinancing for a payment you couldn't afford and you state this in the News, and then you lie on a employee and make slanderous statements stating you were promised things by her untruth.
your were given a stipulation modification you had to make those payments to get the modification and when you didn't keep the agreement again, the help was to get you back on track and get to the modification review and you failed.
As of January 29, 2008 their loan is again delinquent for the 3rd time who do they blame .
this customer is blaming everyone for there problems and what they failed to do, and the arrangement they failed to keep. For everyone who reads this article maybe you should ask yourself the question WHAT HURTS THE MOST?

1. A lie
2. the truth

correct answer 2

The Real Truth about National Foreclosure Counseling Services

AUTHOR: Justice1 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 12, 2009

I worked at NFCS for a brief time "helping" homeowners get loan modifications to their current loans with their lenders. I also had the opportunity to "negotiate" a modification of my loan with my lender, without the assistance of a third party representing me. THERE IS NOTHING THAT THESE THIRD PARTY COMPANIES DO THAT HOMEOWNERS CANNOT DO ON THEIR OWN AND SAVE THEMSELVES THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! The modification companies collect your financial information and contact your lender stating they will be representing the homeowner during mitigation. They then take the homeowners financial information, hardship letter, and any other documents they may require the homeowner to submit, and send it to the lender "on your behalf".

At this point it is out of their hands and is handleld by the lenders loss mitigation company. There are no lawyers involved, there is no negotiations and NFCS has no influence as to what the outcome of the terms may be. I have spoken with the loss mitigation department of my lender and was told that third-party loss mitigation companies have no influence or persuasion on the lender and what their decision will be on a loan modification for the homeowner. I have also spoken with a "loss mitigator" for a competitor of NFCS, which does the same thing as NFCS, and he told me once the paperwork is submitted to the lender they have no power as to what the decision of the lender will be. They try to contact the lender once every week or two to "see what stage the case is in" so they can tell the homeowner we're working on it with your lender. The entire mitigation process normally takes 30-60 days. If you are behind on your mortgage and are looking for help, CONTACT THE LOSS MITIGATION DEPARTMENT OF YOUR LENDER AND WORK DIRECTLY WITH THEM. You will save yourself thousands of dollars and get the same results as paying for this service. I am not a bitter ex-employee! I chose to leave the company because I had moral dilemmas trying to persuade these Homeowners to pay us thousands when I knew d**n well they can do it on their own.

continuation...correction client defaulted in January 09 not January 08 and she was offered $500 even though she failed to meet her obligation to the lender.. stop putting false information out to make yourself a Victim when you continue to victimize the system and slander peoples names with the Open Faced Lies, this makes you Ms Hoag /Mr Royce liable for those inaccurate statements you made about Marian Bryant who took your account the same day you called her 15 times that days November 3.2008 putting your account in front of others because you said you were getting ready to loose your home. Again there was no scam done here... or with any other customer...
