National Home Protection Major Scam for Home Warranty Protection New York New York

The website and salespeople promise all repairs on major systems such as water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners etc are covered and if contractor cant fix the issue the units would be replaced. But once you try to use the service the claims deptartment tells you anything issue you report is a "maintenance issue" and isnt covered. If you can finally get them to assign a contractor to make a service call, they tell them replacement is not covered. When I called to inquire on this I was told over and over "its in the contract" and they dont replace any units.
We purchased a one year Major Services Warranty but when I went to use it today because of a water heater issue, those were the things I was told. I asked several times to speak to a supervisor but they would only say none are available, even the service contrator that called and told them the water heater wasnt working and needed to be replaced they said, not covered.
I called again inquiring for new service and specifically asked the saleperson if a water heater could not be repaired would it be covered in the plan, he said "oh definately yes". I then asked him, why then with the plan I have is your claim deptartment saying nothing is covered and there is no replacement. He then said he would transefer me to a supervisor but it went back to the same receptionist that would never connect me to anyone that could resolve the issue. This is obviously a BIG SCAM and false advertiing and this company needs to be exposed and shut down immediately.
Whatever you do, DO NOT throw away your money with this company!!!
