This company called National Image provides a service called "Free Gas." What they do is selling so-called "free auto care" services. They usually have sales persons at local gas station. The gas station may not know their scheme, or have some plots with them.

When you buy the service, the price is set at $59.95, and they can give you $10.00 off the gas if you are there to pump up the gas for your car. The service is suppose to include 4 paid and one free oil change, brake adjustment, and tire rotation, etc.

In June I bought this service at Alhambra Mobil station. The sales person claimed the deal cost more than $200, but they only sell it for $59.95. I thought that was a great deal. Since they sold it at a local gas station, it should be real. Guess what, when it's too good to true, it's always not true.

Just a month later, the service station (mechinical service) moved out. So there is no way I can get any oil change and other auto service there. But I already paid the bill with my credit card.

When I cantacted the company, National Image, for refund through e-mail. Of course, there is no response. I felt very upset. This company should be put on the rip-off list. There is no such a good deal.

Great program for consumers

national image is a very reputable company that's been around since 1980. Their auto care program will enable the customer to properly maintain their automobile at a fraction of the normal cost.  Over one million customers have chosen the program since their existence.

in this case the mobil dealer assumes full liability if they fail to fulfill its obligations to honor the auto care special program. It is very rare that this happens and that is why national image tried to get this customer to use another station right down the street for the same program. He refused. It is not a scam.

The loyalty program is offered to each auto care special customer every year. Most customers renew it and are happy with the relationship they built with the service station owner and management. Visit the website freeautocare.com and judge for yourself
