National Readers Services Magazine Subsription Scam Shawnee Mission Kansas

 Like many others , I have become a victim of National Readers Services of North America , AKA Magizine Publishers Services , American Publishers Services , Priority One Clearing Services , Sun Magazine Services . These are all either the same company or related companies . They all use the same MO , when they call they violate the do not call list ,  do not identify the company, they talk  very fast  and in my case , indicated (implied )they represented Playboy and were calling to renew my subscription .

  While this seemed strange , this is the age of outsourcing . I thought I was renewing my subscription  and getting a FREE promotion item .  Several months later , I find out I am being charged $46 per month .

   I have no idea how they knew I was a Playboy subscriber, got my phone number, and my credit card number . 

   When you challange them and they realize you are on to them, they begin and endless stream of tactics. You recieve daily calls never from the same person and often from one of the AKA companies .  They never identify the company or their name , you have to push for it .

  When your caller ID picks up the repeat toll free numbers , and you stop answering , they have a trick to roll the call to a local call center near your home . Consequently it appears as a local regular number .  I recieved a call from Danville In  317-451-4953 , when I pushed the caller it actually came from  Florida .  When you call their numbers back , no one answers .

  Their callers are very well trained , the first thing you need to do is stop them from talking ( which is difficult ) .  I was told by two different people that I renewed my subscription  ( same subscrition ) on two different dates . When I challanged why anyone would want to do that , I was told it is normal and the subscriptions stack on the back end .

 the only way I know to deal with them is to stop payment , and when they threaten to turn you over to a collection agency , report them to the Attorney General Office , Better Busines or sue them .  They are ruthless !
